From foreign licece to ATP WITHIN A WEEK!

Hi there guys, im hopping someone can give me some good advice here.. Im based in the Middle East on a 1900, have CPL, approx 2500TT... Faa verification of licence and FAA Medical. Looking at heading to the states without TSA clearence to sit foreign licence conversion, then sit the required ATP exam and Flight test all within a week. Id had my eyes on doing it with ALL ATP's.., but ( as of this week) they now tell me they will no longer do ATP training unless u already have an american licence printed..??
The training im intending to do is intensive.., and im studying Gleims manuals at present.
Does anyone know of a place ...- maybe they could Private Msg me a name of an institution where i can go to do this ?
thanks

It cannot be done without TSA clearance, no DE is permitted to test you, and no school is permitted to train you without authorisation from the TSA.

I'll second that. The school would be in heaps of trouble if they allowed you to train without the appropriate security measures having been taken. I have been through some training with ATP. They don't care too much about you, you have to have most (if not all) of the academic work done yourself and be ready to fly when they say so. However, they do get you through quickly, very quickly. Good luck!

You dont need TSA clearance for the FAA Commercial though.

You do, you need it to undertake ANY flight training or checkride in the USA, or outside of the US if you are doing it for FAA certification, if you are not a US citizen.

You need TSA clearance for your initial FAA certificate, regardless of if it's Private, Commercial or ATP. If you have an FAA Private certificate already, you don't need it for commercial.

You also need it for Instrument and Multi-Engine additions as they enhance skills, but if you had AMEL, you wouldn't need it for AMES, etc.
