How much experience......

How many hours did you have before starting an ab-initio integrated course? Anyone start with zero (in the true spirit of ab-initio!)? If so, did you feel at a disadvantage to other, more experienced pilots?

Yes - my experience amounts to a half-hour trial lesson in a Cessna 150 which is pretty much insignificant. When I applied to CTC Wings, they made it absolutely clear at every stage of the application that you are not at a disadvantage if you have no experience so no, I didn't feel disadvantaged. I'm just looking forward to getting stuck into the foundation course!

Just wondering if any of you who did integrated courses ran over budget due to extra flying hours, and if so, by how much?
