air cadets flying

I am in the air cadets and have logged 3 hours of flying time in the Tutor and Vigilant. I was wondering if these hours can counts as logged hours for my PPL.

The CAA considers the Vigilant to be a 'Touring Motor Glider', not a Single Engine Piston Class aircraft.

Unless your Tutor flying was conducted by a RAF QFI or a pilot with a current Flight Instructor's Rating, it will not be reckonable towards a PPL as it is technically 'passenger flying'. Quite interesting passenger flying, but passenger flying nonetheless!
