Additional turboprop ratings??
 

Hi there, i am a british A level student, wanting to complete my CPL.fATPL in the very near future, i was wondering if it would be useful to have a turboprop aircraft rating on my license? (metro III) would this be useful atall? after 1500 p1 time, with 500p1 MEP time, would such an endorsement make me a better candidate for an airline position?.

It would help you to have any time, especially if it is multi engine turbine time. Even if it is piston time, it still puts you way ahead of the majority(those with ~250 Hrs). Grab it with both hands and goodluck.

hi, thanks for the reply. I have looked into the multi-engine turbine training, and as i gather, you do not complete the course like a rating, you just take the initial training? and then does that aircraft get added to your license?:S
