Irish Pilots - Funding

Just a quick question for any qualified/Part qualified Pilot's. Are there any financial scheme's such as HSBC's available in Ireland?

Has anyone direct experience of borrowing from an Irish Bank for F/T.

Cheers

Hi Irishtjs,

I borrowed 40K for flight training from AIB back in 2003, parents had to act as guarantor though. The interest rate was about 8%. I'm not too sure if there is any special scheme that Irish banks have setup such as the HSBC scheme in the UK.

Talk to FTE

Talk to FTE Jerez !

They were about to set up a Bank Loan Scheme last year, nothing has happened.

Give them a call or email and make enquiries, no point in re-inventing the wheel.

Student loans are available but you need Guarantor.

If damand is there some lending institution will provide the funds.
