Trevor Thom

Hi,
Can someone tell me which Trevor Thom book relates to which exam subject for the PPL exams?

I know I don't need to buy book 5 as this is for the IMC.

TJF97,

#1 covers the practical flying i.e. all the manoevers etc you need to go through with the instructor so its not related specifically to a written paper

#2 covers both "Air Law and Operational Procedures" and "Meteorology" Exams

#3 Covers "Navigation and Radio Aids"

#4 covers the "Aircraft General and Principles of Flight"

#5 is the IMC one you dont need it for the basic PPL

#6 covers "Human Performance & Limitations"

#7 covers "Communications-PPL" for both the written Radiotelephoney exam and the oral one.

As far as I can remember i think that the "Flight Performance and Planning" exam is covered by the 3rd book.

I would also recommend getthing the PPL confuser as well I found it really useful

I used the PPL series by Jeremy Pratt

Great books and very up-to-date.

Yeah I used Jeremy Pratt's books to really good and a little more consise than Trevor Thom's. Also there are fewer of JP's book to make up the complete set so should cost a little less :D
