New Zealand Instrument Rating

Hi

I am seeking advice on where the best place in New Zealand is to undertake my single engine instrument rating as well as my mullti engine instrument rating.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Eagle 206

OK, I know New Zealand isnt quite as big as some other countries, but nor is it Liechtenstein.
Where abouts are you? Theres not much point sending you to Auckland if you live in Dunedin, or to Queenstown if you're in Dannevirke.

My suggestion would be to go to your local flying school, and if they dont offer instrument training, to ask them for a recommendation to another school nearby.

Going on a slight tagent from the orginal question but you may be able to help me. I am from the Uk and are considering doing my CPL in New Zeland. Is there any down sides to learning abroad and are there any problems any one has encountered ??? Any information would be helpful.

kind Regards

Adam :O
