Need help for ATR72 training.

Hi,

I'm preparing for ATR72 Training.

But, I have some difficulties for preparing especially Power Plant.

(CL, PL, NH, NL, NP, TORQUE etc. Actually I'm accustumed to reading N1, N2)

Because this is the first time for Turboprop in my career.

Already have Jet - I mean Turbofan - rating, though

So, I would like to request ATR72 Captains and F/Os help for training.

Is there any CBT stuff for ATR72 ?

Or Any kind of material will help me a lot.

(power setting table, traffic pattern diagram etc.)

Of course I already have FCOM etc.

Thank you for your kindness previously.

Good Flight!:ok:

Is it a posh ATR with EEC's and PEC's? It is is then: Power lever pops into the detent, press the button to get the prop/power setting when in flight and if you have too much torque, take the levers out of the detent. Let's guess at power: Two engine Circuit: 35%, Approach: 20% - Single engine double it! This appears to work for most turboprops. The rest is normally operator specific - some make it easy, others...

It's been a while since I was an ATR pilot, but here it goes:

PL= Power Lever
CL= Condition Lever (Fuel)
NH= High Pressure section
NL= Low Pressure section
NP= Propellar RPM

NH is basically the N1
NL is N2

Oh yeah, motor number 2 has a prop brake. It allows the gas generator to operate without having to have the prop spin. It's prone to catching on fire if you set the prop brake above NP limits. So don't do that.
