Flight planning question.

I'm a bit off on this...

The fuel burn - off is 200 kg/hr with a relative fuel density of 0.8. If the relative fuel density is 0.75, the fuel burn will be:

A) 200 kg/hr
B) 188
C) 220
D) 186

I went for B) But apparently it doesn't matter what the rel. den. is.

The actual answer given is A) 200 kg/hr.

Anyone differ?

The same: 200kg. The only difference density makes is how much you can fit in your tank. The lower the density, the less actual fuel you have to burn.

Ahhh

Now I see why I kept getting it wrong. Thanks

HWD is correct it doesnt matter what the density is.
