FAA IR / conversion

Hi guys / girls , am heading over to the States to do a FAA IR with the intentions to return home and do a conversion course . Could you give me an idea of how long / many hourse the conversion took ? thanks ..

I have a friend who recently did the conversion with my employer. He did the full 50 hours that our unrated students do.
