Now here's a funny thing....

A question for all computer literate wannabees - Why would the domain www.bristolgroundschool.com, originally containing a link to Naples Air Center and currently parked at GoDaddy.com, have been registered, in the first instance, to one Richard Genatil (sic)?

BillieBob,

This domain is not registered to Richard Genatil. The domain is registered to Naples Air Center. However, Richard is listed as the Administrative Contact and Technical Contact. What this means is, other than I'm a computer geek, is that Richard just maintains the domain. He will receive the renewal notices and such, but the actual domain is owned by the NAC.

Hope this helps. Why the query anyway?

It begs the question...

For those still mystified, the web address for Bristol groundshool is www.bristol.gs . Richard Genatil runs NAC, a competitor. This is not an uncommon practice, not very highy thought of, but nor is it especially harmful. NAC are actually rather reputable, by the standards of US-based training for JAA, so I am a little surprised, but it's a fairly small point.
