Post XMAS GATBASH SEMINARS - Time to book a place

Heads up guys and gals. The next session of seminars will be on SATURDAY 15th DECEMBER --- AT THE THISTLE HOTEL GATWICK, HORLEY, SURREY

The format of June 9th was very successful, and since this proved to be what people actually wanted it will remain basically the same. The routes, therefore, will be CPL/ATPL, ATC, MILITARY and PPL/STARTERS, plus an open forum to discuss entering the airlines, route flying, duty days, time-off, jetlag and ANY other subjects.

The tutors will be as before: CAPT.PPRUNE, HAMRAH, CRASHDIVE, PPRUNE RADAR, PPRUNE TOWERS, STOPSTART, SICK SQUID, SCROGGS and WEE WEASLEY WELSHMAN. plus others who may join in the discussions with their experiences - including ME!

Also as before, there will room for 50 students only. When and if the list reaches 50 I will give priority to those who missed out last time. Those making way will be selected by using the SECOND letter of their PPRuNe handle. When the FINAL list is known I will inform you on the Wannabes Forum on THIS page.

As far as the fee is concerned,it was popularly agreed after the last seminars that the fund should be saved for when it comes into use for the benefit of wannabes, and should NOT be used to pay for the lecture rooms and between lecture refreshments. I am pleased to say that I have negotiated the same costs which are £1000 (i.e 2 Rooms = £720 and 2 refreshment breaks of 50 persons each = £270) so there is a fee of £20 per student attending. Payment will be by cheque made out to the PPRuNe Fund and sent to - 5 Station Approach, Belmont, Surrey SM2 6BW But please do not send me your payment until selected.

Students will be split into TWO main groups of 25. The lectures will run from 1000hrs to 1630hrs. Each lecture will last approx. 50 minutes. We found this to be a good period. You will be advised of refreshment breaks on arrival - which be no later than 0945hrs. Check-in starts at 0800hrs.

PLEASE KEEP SIGHT OF THIS PAGE AT ALL TIMES IN REGARD TO THE LIST OF NAMES. THE FIRST 50 WILL GO HERE, AND SELECTION WILL BE DONE HERE. MUCH AS I WOULD LIKE TO, I WILL MAKE NO APOLOGIES FOR REMOVING A NAME BUT I WILL DO IT FAIRLY AND HONESTLY.

Better get moving then people's but DO NOT enter your name by e-mail to me. I will NOT accept it or reply to it. Sorry, but that is the first stage of being fair.

THE LIST HAS BEGUN! THESE ARE THOSE SO FAR, AND TO SECURE YOUR PLACE PLEASE SEND A CHEQUE MADE OUT TO THE PPRUNE FUND FOR £20 AND SEND TO 5 Station Approach, Belmont, Surrey SM2 6BW WITH your given name AND your PPRuNe name. YOU MUST MAKE YOUR PAYMENT WITHIN 5 (FIVE) WEEKS OTHERWISE YOUR SPACE WILL BE GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE.
---------------------------------------------
This list is the first 50 excluding those who have been before. I will, as before, keep a wait-list for those who wish to go and I advise you to add your name to the list.

IFR

I was also at the last one but would value the chance to come along again if their are any spaces left for those who went last time.

Otherwise I will be up for the beers afterwards.

IFR

I missed the previous seminars, therefore I would like very much to attend this one. I hope by then I will have my PPL and will be about to start my ATPL ground school - so I will require lots of input from the professionals.

Regards

IFR,

I'm currently working towards achieving my PPL with a view to gaining sponsorship with an airline, and have been told that these seminars are extremely useful in preparation for selection.

I would therefore appreciate if you could please add my name to the list.

Regards

hey IFR,

would really really appreciate a place if possible!
Never been to one so far and have heard nothing but good things about your seminars!
Am just starting out in a sense, no flying hours yet, have applied for BA, if not succesful with them next month when I have my apptitudes then I will be looking to do my PPL, CPL and ATPL on my own so your seminar would be most helpful!

1 place for me please!!

IFR,

Please can you put my name down for the seminars, unfortunately due to personal circumstances I couldn't make the last one.

Thanks in advance,

GPS.

IFR unfortunatly my last cheque book got washed in a pair of jeans 2 years ago and didn't survive. Is there any chance of getting the bank details so i can do a PC banking type thing instead?

PS why don't you make it 30UKP for the seminars and you get a a free PPruNe badge.

And give 10UKP discount if one already purchased.

If we are wanting to go to the seminar, meal and badge whats going to be the least confusing way of paying for you?.

Who isn't working in the UK at the moment so none internet bank type things are a complete pain in the arse.
