You don't need to be paying flight school prices to hour build. Check out ukga.com classifieds, there are plenty of equity and non equity shares with hourly rates as low as £60. You're allowed 30 hours in a TMG and they're even cheaper. If you work in the UK then you have at least 28 days holiday. I suggest using 4 weeks for a PPL, then another 4 weeks for IR a year later. It'll take you that long to pass the exams.

You are an absolute master. Thanks a lot. Do you mind if I PM you for a way to keep in touch outside of PP? I'm sure I'll have some questions at some point in the near future when I get down and dirty with all of this.
