Heard some mix stories. I would suggest to visit the academy. Bartolini I've heard some negative in terms of duration of training and the immense waiting time. I am about to finish my training with Brics Aviation in Poland and I would highly recommend them.

Thanks, But those are almost 7 year old comments - I was more interested in "recent" experience of students who have just finished or currently doing the course with them.

The best you can do is to check yourself and while you are at EPBC there are more schools there you can visit during the same trip to see what suits you best. I am very satisfied with an another school with a base in EPBC, but I have no idea how it is at Ventum from what I heard some people are also satisfied there.

As for the theory its almost the same where you do it, you have to learn most of the stuff yourself from Bristol ATP digital, and question banks like AviationExam, Atpl questions and Bristol ofc.
At my school there is a fleet of 3x Cessna 172, 3x Cessna 152, 3x AT-3 1x DA-42, 1x Piper Senca III (with 3 more AT3s already booked) and during periods outside of season like right now you can get a plane for hour building any day almost for the whole day. During the season if you are available all the time you will get at least 3 slots per week and sometimes 5 (that was what I got). As for everything else for me it worked perfectly and I am very happy I chose this school. I know that some people are also happy with Ventum, so you gotta visit Warszawa and check the schools yourself and see what fit you the best and what planes appeal more to to you.
PM me if you want to know something specific about the school I am attending or if you plan to visit. As for Ventum like I said I have never been there and just heard that some people are satisfied with them too.

Just off topic, how Brics aviation is different from Adriana btw? I’ve seen Brics have the same address as Adriana and links to theirs web page. Could you please tell me more?

While the headline rates in Poland look attractive, factoring in 12+ weeks away from work you're already £6k+ down plus the inconvenience of being away from home so overall there's probably not much in it. My recommendation would be wherever possible to train close to home and keep your job going if you can grind it out around work. Difficult, but in the long run you'll probably be a better pilot for it and also better off financially overall when you also allow for having to find a job post qualification.

Its a broker with some support to their students such as job or airline grading. I can start next month to do a paid internship for a parachute company and do some 150-300 hours on a SEP during the summer. There was no price difference so I gave it a go and do not regret my decision. I might do the internship whilst applying for jobs. Wizz Air for example requires 300 TT actual flight hours so not a bad option to do that internship.

@Okavango: For some people it will be a great bonus to skip doing their job that they do really not like, of course if they have already enough money for the course (life expenses will be a lot less in Poland than UK). Also afterwards when working for the airlines if you choose to live in eastern Europe only then you will "feel the reward" not only in job satisfaction but also financially, because of the price level where you live.
@pilot freak: Most schools in Poland today offer different opportunities for students who are good enough. At my school its the possibility to be a fully paid FI and fly actually as much as you only wish and can manage properly. All the instructors who instructed me in my PPL(A) in 2018 and applied to the airlines got there. One to Sprint Air (turboprop), one to Wizz Air and one to LOT (on a jet). And BTW the one who got Wizz Air waited the longest patiently (no one had to wait more than 1 year).
PS. 2 of the instructors were in their 30s and one exactly 40 years old when they got their airline jobs so age in the market today is not such an enormous problem like it seems in some topics. I am 30 and will probably be 31 when I am done so I hope too its "young enough" for the airline job
