Aviation Career Center Maribor

Good day folks, was wondering if there is anyone who's trained or visited the school. I tried to find information on here but couldn't, not saying it isnt here but might be old. Anything recent is appreciated.

I finished my training there late last year, it's a small school, nothing fancy, but the staff is really friendly and flexible. You can fly as much as you want, even twice a day, the school has the entire international airport almost for themselves, the instructors are great, you arrange each flight directly with the instructor. I've been training on an older Piper Tomahawks, but I saw that they have changed their fleet with glass cockpit airplanes. No hidden costs or anything like that, everything was already included in the total price (fuel, flight exams, landing fees), all the training modules were performed in the required hours, except if you need extra flight time, it's paid extra... I paid 400 EUR extra on top of the total training for having extra time on ME training.
And it's almost necessary that you have a car, because the connection from and to the airport is not that great, I bought a car at the beginning and sold it when I left, it much more convenient

Bit late to the party here.
Former ACC student. Just to let you know there has never been a HowardJR at the school, think Miha is running that account spoofing it as a former english student.
If you want my advice, avoid the school. Don't get sucked into the "Glass cockpit" is better, it isn't, there's nothing wrong with the old school "6 pack" as it prevents this "magenta generation" that forms. Best to have a mix in my view.

Aircraft like the old PA-38 weren't well maintained and often you flew with issues in them. Some had electrical fires, radio or even engine failures. The new machines are LSA, which aren't really designed for it. CFI is extremely awkward to deal with and certainly took a lot of the fun out of the hour building which is truly a shame.
This "400EUR" extra, is a kick in the teeth, they charge you before submitting your CPL data, and will charge you for 1 minute over the contract time. Compared to some guys 400EUR is cheap as a surprise charge.
