SKY4u APS MCC for Ryanair

There is a topic of APS Simtech vs Virtual Aviation but... what about SKY4u based in Berlin, Germany?

Looking at their website, they have a training agreement with Ryanair and they are allowed to use RYR SOP during the simulator training.
Do you have any feedback on that flight school? Do you know if there are other special agreements with the airline?

What about Atlantic Flight Training Academy ? I thought they were the place to go in terms of APS / MCC to get prepared for Ryanair's interview.

They have an agreement too, but their prices are much more expensive and their students have priority so... it's difficult to get in!

Hey folks,

I d like to try the assessment for the RYR APS MCC at Sky4u but I really don't know what to review...
they've mentioned 4 things : atpl assessment, English test, psychological test and psychotenic test.

Has anyone passed it already and can help us with his/her feedback?

Thanks a lot

Moldu

A couple of friends of mine have tried it recently but no one passed it.
I will ask them if they are willing to get in touch with you and pass some info.

Hello marotti84 & Moldu,

you can get all the information about our APS-MCC and the assessment online on our website, either browse the APS-MCC course site or write us up via the "contact" option.
And just to mention, so far all applicants have passed the initial assessment here in Berlin.

best regards,

the SKY4u team

Hi Sky4u team,
thank you for your reply, but the information you provide by mail doesn't really help us for the assessment preparation. I saw your reply in another thread, what does “mainly atpl operational content” mean ? almost all the ATPL could be defined as “operational” =)

That's strange because my friend who works at SKY4U said that the assessments haven't even started yet. You keep spreading false information

Has anybody if you attended the APS at SKY4u?
Any feedback about the assessment and the course?
Do they have scheduled courses for the next months?
Thanks.

first you'll pay a higher price than for regular mcc. second you have two screenings one for the aps one for ryr later. third there is no guarantee that ryr hires you and you still pay the 5000 euro for training and you are bonded
come on folks. really want that?
either you do a type rating or you choose an ato with more experience and contacts to pkace you in a screening
good luck

Hello Moldu, the assessment is done through ATTC using SkyTest, you can find further information on their website.

sky4u_berlin Hi!
I've had a look on ATTC website, but haven't found information about the test using Sky test. Could you give me some details?

seems to me that you will apply for the aps mcc. but first you should read sky4u's resonses in the simtech vs sky thread. I'm pretty sure you'll spend thereafter 5000 euro on a mcc joc on a full flight and you'll be happy. things used to be different when I did my mcc. companies were trying to convince you with flowers and sweets, not trying to shut your mouth.

I have many contacts and will not recommend sky4u. mark my word

aronsha thank you for your opinion.
To be honest, I have some excellent feedback from my friends who attended the MCC at Sky4u.
In any case, I am just trying to figure out which tests they do at the assessment.

Hi Jolax.
If you decided for the standard MCC it's OK. But don't let yourself push into APS MCC. Just read some disturbing stuff about SKY4u on PPRuNe. Be cautious and consider MCC on a full flight sim as well.
Good luck

From what I heard the sky4u is the only APS MCC directly connected to Ryanair? I heard about other providers of APS MCC like Virtual Avtiation but they are not cooperating with Ryanair from what I can see.

As for the assessment I do also wonder what it is since on the sky4u webpage there is no info about what the assessment will be (its still some time but I believe I will have my licenses this year so would like to know what to eventually prepare).

There's no Info because ATTC is doing the screening. And the screening for RYR is different. From my point of view this scheme is a full scam. Everybody thinks once they're through the screening for the APS MCC at Sky4u their position at RYR is guaranteed. Completely wrong. I recommend Simtech, Virtual or AFTA for the APS. AFTA is an official partner as well. More official partners to come soon according to RYRs statement in the other thread.
You should ask why they're searching for other partners than Sky4u.
Regards
