Trainee pilot loss of medical

Hi all,

I am looking for a well known and dependable insurer which provides loss of medical insurance to trainees worldwide. I have so far heard of APPN, SAAM, Aviabel, Hiscox and BALPA. Hiscox and BALPA don't seem to provide worldwide coverage (atleast not to my country). Can someone tell me which one should I choose? And how was your experience when trying to get insurance from one of them? Was there a lot of paperwork and travelling involved? Also if I join a well known flying school like L3 airline academy or CAE oxford academy, do they arrange various insurances for us or it's something to be done personally?

Thank you
