Does anyone have any info on these tests?

I took the ADAPT test in October and I can honestly say that it's nothing to worry about. All I can suggest is practising distance, speed and time calculations over and over as these are the only things you can actually prepare for. The rest (spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination etc.) is meant to test your natural abilities, so its very hard to prepare for because it's so general.

I used latest pilot jobs oxford package and it was great for speed testing and the questions were the same type - they also have a pretty goof recreation of the ball test and the slalom as part of that package. Combined that with a bit of BBC bitesize revision of physics (electrical theory mainly) and it was all good.

I also used Latest Pilot Jobs! was a good resource for the ADAPT Test. It wasnt as bad as I thought if im honest, the physics and maths part, you could brush up a little, just learn the basic GCSE stuff like basic circuits, just give it a read over. Have a look at a ADAPT test being done, on youtube btw, itll give you an idea of what part of the multi tasking ADAPT test is like as its the same software
I didn't actually pass the first time, I failed in March due to the Fixed wing which is sort of like a flight simulator, where you have to maintain an altitude and fly to certain points. The explanation of this is clear enough when doing it, I just reckon I lost concentration at this part. Even though i failed this, CAE gave me the option to move onto part 3 and retake the Fixed Wing part at the same time after 3 months.
Overall, check Latest Pilot Jobs and dont be too nervous. I definitely over thought it but I passed and I start at Oxford January 2nd!

I will be going through the ADAPT test at Oxford next month, last time I failed the Ball games aspect (moving the ball on the target using the joystick). Does anyone have any tips for that part of the test?

Ive just had a look at the adapt multi tasking part that looks like its relentlessly throwing orders at you ,does it all happen very fast ? And in regards to the ball game, does the ball move just horizontaly and verticaly?

I don't know about my score, I never got told what score I got. All I know is I failed it. Shame because it was the very last part of the whole assessment as well. If anyone has any tips for it for my resit then that would be very much appreciated.

can you please tell me more about this. Is it the Bundle you have to buy if u pass stage 1 and practice it

Maths and Physics Bundle
This is the bundle it covers alot of subjects in both maths and physics which will help you alot in the stage 2 assessment and its what i used while revising for my stage 2.
Latestpilotjobs adapt test package will also aid you with the other aspects of stage 2 like the red ball test
and the Fast test

Hi all,
I'm currently using CAE's online Maths & Physics bundle package to prepare and there's lessons at the end on the origins of the universe and life of a star etc. Do I need to really spend time on these topics? They seem a bit random compared to the other topics (mass, forces, circuits etc.)
i.e. will they actually ask questions on this, or would I be foolish not to revise it because it's literally in the pack they provide?

Hiya, I'm currently preparing for CAE's Stage 2 selection. For the people who bought the ADAPT package from LatestPilotJobs, which package did you go for? I'm unsure whether I need the advanced flight simulator and working memory test prep for Stage 2 or not. Many thanks

Hello. I have been to CAE oxofrd And i have done th stage 2 Assessments. Unfortunately i didnt pass the physics module and it means i need to re do it if I'm planning to go for easyjet course. However if i want to join the intgrated course then i could repeat the physics module after doing stage 3. Thats not the answer for your question but i think you will need the 1 month package from latestpilotjobs that bas the simulator and the short memory. You need to focus on physics and math more importantly. Because they arent expecting you to be a pro in the simulator they want you to be able to focus and follow the orders. You will enjoy using the joy stick like i did for the first time in my life. Hope that helps and good luck.

Some are saying you are not allowed a calculator.. some are saying you are.. Maybe for the normal maths and physics tests you are not allowed a calculator but for the progressive ones you are? Does anyone actually know?
