No wonder why there are so many negative reviews about flying academy here.

It was one of my biggest mistake of my life considering flying academy. They will will be so nice and friendly till the date to get you enrolled. Once you make the payment they will be even not talk to you anymore.

I left my training half way and started in another place from zero so lost around 4000 euro for nothing.

I am writing this just let you guys know that its gonna be your biggest wrong choice to consider flying academy. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you don't care about your money then go ahead.

Try Bartolini in poland.its one of the best ATO in the European countries. positive student satisfaction, better training facilities and so cheap and so on.
flying academy will steal your money with their hidden charges and then when you trying to talk to someone in management they will avoid you.

Flying academy Europe

The school is not so bad neither the aircrafts. The time you will do the training will be fast, in other places is slower . But the things which the school will **** you up are others behind the scenes - THE EXAMINERS. Do not go for Austrian license because the school is based in Czech republic they have huge argues with Czech CAA and you will get delayed with the Czech examiners will be their excuse - no it is not like this. Czech examiners will come on time and all will be fine. Why I talk about that they will ask you to change your license to Austrian - because they will bring private examiner who will rip you off with the price but this is again not the case. The case is that the examiner and the school they work together and if he wants he will FAIL YOU INTENTIONALLY .

NO MATTER HOW GOOD PILOT YOU ARE. I SAW THIS !!! at the beginning the examiner was nice and good after that he got jealous because he was not able to get all the money for himself due to the school brought other examiners from Austria and he started dealing with the school and filing the students.

Remember during your skill test there are no cameras, nothing - all depends on the examiner. I regret i Changed my license to Austrian and went through this ****. DO not listen to the others, also Austrian licence is super expensive. Will cost you more than 1000 EUR for one piece of paper which in Czech rep. is 4-5 EUR. If you are Russian speaking you will get the best examiners because the whole administration are russians and they will give you examiners to pass. When you are from other country you are not their people so they will screw you with examiners to fail you. Failing means - more hours, more skill tests, more money. This is how the school work !!! Working with examiners behind you. The training is OK - level went down after I finished but was OK. My recommendation is to stay with Czech license and do not spend money for nothing. Good luck

I know some guys at Austrian, former coworkers. But I never heard of this thing that examiners try to let you fail. Before you spend your money at Flying Academy go and try other schools first.

Flying Academy Prague Base

Flying Academy robber is an infamous school. You go for a 7,000 Euro PPL license, but you pay 12,000 Euros. They make a lot of hidden payments. They make 3 flights, then they say there is no money in your account.

The education quality is very bad, the planes are very old.

In particular, I tell Turkish Citizen friends, don't believe the Turkish speaking rogue person there.

Has anyone been through the school in the last year? I have seen a mixed bag of responses but then I have seen the same at every school I have looked at.

Cheers

The absolute WORST flight school in entire Europe! Usually I dont like to write bad reviews about places but here I really have to. People, for your own sake, DO NOT choose this school for your pilot career, I didn’t listen to the bad reviews that were written here, and now I deeply regret it. I did my PPL in this school in the period January 2022-march 2023, process was delayed due to the fact that I was working in order to earn the money that was later on flushed down the toilet by this totally bull**** school and its greedy people. I will tell you STRAIGHT FACTS about what they did to me. This school operates from an airfield with a grass runway, in slope, that can obviously not be used after rain, snow, etc. I thought this was going to make it cheaper but it didn’t. In May 2022, the instructor who was my main one (an absolutely amazing and professional guy, I am totally grateful that I had the opportunity to fly with him), said I am 90% ready for solo, and I will need one more training flight, solo check and then solo. He went on holiday for a month (nothing against this, it is his full right), a time in which I was flying for nothing, as other instructors won’t release me for solo for some reason. My friends (also studying in scamming academy) advised me not to fly until this particular instructor returns from holiday. I took their advice, and when he returned from holidays I don’t know how it was possible to have, one flight, solo check, and then solo, after not flying for half a month almost. On the day of my solo, we landed in Brno airport and the nosewheel was trepidating. Turns out the damper was broken. We had to waste time (and money), to return to the airfield where it got fixed. After discussing it with the school, they gave me a 30 euros discount (which was not enough) for this thing. Again, wasted time and money when they forgot one pair of headsets and we had to go to the airfield in Brezi to pick it up. It is absolutely unbelievable how I got scammed with my own money, with the money I spent on PPL I could’ve bought a flat! Their fleet is a graveyard, always inop equipment, etc. I had fights with them regarding money, and their answer was always ”You don’t pay you don’t fly”. The myFBO where you can see all the money that you need to pay is total crap and they write there whatever they want (for instance they charged me for refueling in Letnany when I never flew from there). Some of their ground instructors are very rude and arrogant, and for the information, if I do not know certain things it is not because I scratch my b***s the whole day, it’s because I work until exhaustion to pay your salary through this school. Sadly I don’t think I could report them to a financial authority, as I am not from the Czech Republic, but what I can do is inform people about this disgusting school, for them to avoid the mistakes that i did.
