Taking Ground School exams in one country before taking Flying in another country...
I'm new to this and this is my first thread, so excuse me if i'm not doing something right here!
I am from England, and I am planning on taking my PPL in the USA (American Aviation Academy, El Cajon to specific) late 2012/early 2013.
I was wondering if it is of the norm to take groundschool exams in England first, before heading off to the US for the flying? Most schools include the groundschool work in their packages so i'm not too sure.
Any help would be great, Thanks!

Firstly - Welcome to the Wannabees forum! Whilst this forum is mainly for those working towards professional exams rather than the PPL I am sure that one day you may want to go on to the next level. You may find more information in the Private Flying forum....
What I would ask is that you just spend a bit of time going through previous posts / threads - use the Search function - and you may find that most of your questions have been asked (and answered) many times before.
I will close the thread whilst you do that but just PM me if you want it opened again
