The list is published each year in the Flight Examiners' Handbook, not available as far as I know on the net. So yes I know, but as it goes up to Exam 99, I'm not writing it out here! If you need to know a particular one send a PM.

Exam 11.............Dai Heather Hayes
Dai began his flying career in the Royal Air Force where he flew the Hunter and later became an instructor and display pilot. He left the RAF in 1971 to pursue a career in civil aviation which has included Air Taxi, Instruction and Examining work as well as holding posts with the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
He is currently the CAA Regional Flight Test Examiner for Commercial Pilot and Instructor Ratings and the issue of Display Authorisations. An active display pilot in the region, his displays are something of a local legend and he is a hugely respected figure in Scottish Aviation.
Dai has been flying aerobatics for fourty years and his knowlege and enthusiasm for the subject are unmatched. Flying with him is a real privelege and experience. He is a very thorough and patient teacher, but do expect to be shouted at from time to time when you get something wrong! This is old school quality instruction from a Grande Master.

The callsign for the aircraft on which I did my CPL course was Silver 19. When it came to my skill test, I was given the choice of using the normal call sign or Exam 19. That was with Fred Cross from the CAA; I don't know whether the 19 in each case was a coincidence.

Dickie Snell is in fact exam 27 and Adam Whitehead is Exam 04. Dickie Snell ( ex raf) someone told me he was involved in developing the constant aspect technique with regard to a PFL.
Adam Whitehead I believe is very knowledgible with regard to GPS and has held seminars on the subject.

Peter Bradbury - Exam 94
Incidentally, I asked him about the Exam callsign when I did my CPL test and the response was "It's so they know who to bill for the landings". Never did ascertain if it was completely accurate, but worth remembering when your FTO hands you an invoice with landing fees on it after your CPL test.

Not sure about the billing, but another reason for the Exam callsign is so that (particularly for the IR) ATC know that you are under a certain degree of stress, and as such to perhaps "cut a little slack" with regards to routings etc.
