So you've just finished Flight School........

and have your CPL/IR/MCC etc. and 250hours.

What are your chances of getting a job after this, or do you have to spend more money?

I would appreciate any advice from anyone who has finished training, i'd like to know where they went from there etc.

Cheers

I passed me CPL/ME/IR skill test last Saturday, can get a job as an FI at my local airfield (need to save up for FI course first) I have also applied to LOCO on the continent. We'll see how in works out.
I hope it'll be all good, good luck to every one else trying hard !
Stay positive!

Finished IR & MCC last November, airline job within 3 months (modular route and thirty-something, with grey hairs to prove it). 220hrs tt

Without a doubt the job market has tightened since then, but there are still a few jobs out there.

Hi G SXTY,

May i ask, which airline you got a job with and did you have to do a type rating (self funded) before you got the job?

Cheers

I believe he is with Flybe.

Last I heard, sterling.dk were hiring if you pay for TR.

Shh, it's supposed to be a secret . . .

Flybe do not expect you to pay for a type rating.
