If you want to try OBA make sure they send you a copy of the 8 page contract they make you sign on arrival BEFORE you leave the country or part with any cash. That may help make your mind up.

I have found Treasure Coast Pilot Academy!?

http://www.flytcpa.com/JAA_commercial_pilot.php

On some links they are connected with OFT (Orlando flight training).
Is it the same school or what?

Anybody?

That part of the operation has been closed for awhile now. Think they just opened up something in Merrit Island that is similar, though.

i really do need some genuine advice (im looooooost)

Im 26 years old, which makes me a bit late in commencing a career in aviation, but as they say (its never to late).
After spending lots of hours in researching, I have concluded the following:
They are 3 license: FAA-CAA-JAR, the most approved is JAR and the least approved is FAA, based on that,I have decided to go for JAR, but JAR is done in Europe, as we all know Europe has a terrible weather conditions which may take as much as 3 years to complete my CPL(ME-I).
The American system is the best, but not approved except in America( They are faster, easer and cheaper).
My question is, is there a proper authorized school in USA to teach JAR syllabus and are authorized to give JAR exams?
I have found a school in Jordan, they are really professional there fleet are one of the latest fleet (they teach JAR syllabus, but there exams are CAA)
Or if any one could advice me to complete my CPL-FAA then convert it to JAR? Is it advisable?

I really hope some one replies, Im really confused of the amount of different opinions I get from different people..

Regards

Thanks,
My plan is to join one of the airlines company in the gulf, but i do not know way!none of them approve the FAA license, i personally think that obtaining FAA license is easeir faster and cheaper.
but there is no point in doing that if its is not approved, after consulting with pilots, they say JAR is the new thing these days, and a candidate will be consider more than an FAA student.

Plzzzzzzzzzz adviceeeeee

Pilot Training College now has a school open in Vero Beach, FL., doing JAA training. They are doing MECPL's and are using Seminoles for their training, and from what I know of, the students who have been through it got done really quickly.

Hey Zooom
I'm in the same boat as you and its taken over 2 wks to get to speak to anyone from EFT and when I did it was Ari Ben the fella from www.aribenaviator.com!!! Now I knew that EFT shared an office in the same block as these from someone who done their FAA IR/ JAA CPL with them but I could never get to speak to anyone from EFT.
Interesting to hear that they've lost their JAA accreditation.
Ariben don't do JAA either.

Now can anyone tell me is it correct that you have to do your JAA CPL in the same country you've done the ATPL exams in?

Sorry to hi-jack

adcjet vero beach florida

I have been speaking yesterday with the owner of the www.ADCJET.com, I think I will try to get some money and probably will be heading ther over december to get everything from 0 to 200 hours Faa ppl-ir faa- JAR cpl and ATPL frozen, I would have preferred if someone could have give me some info on this school but seems that noone knows it, this is due to the fact that is a new school runned by Italian owner, the scool is in Vero beach and all the course cost about 24.000 euros!! I mean it may not a famous school but if I get into this crazy adventure at 34 years old I want to do it in the cheapest way possible, also for the IR ME conversion I think I will go to Spain as the waste of money is contained in approx 5.000 euros.
