PPL then modular ATPL or direct integrated ATPL?

Good afternoon,

I please wish to know what is better?
Starting with a PPL, then integrate a flight school offering an ATPL modular program, or go directly via a ATPL integrated course?

I guess starting ATPL (integrated) is much "simpler", isn't it?

Great day
