Only Gatwick for the Class 1 Initial. And then a registered AMC or AME there after.

Here's one I can't find a definite answer to that mey be pertinent since Angel is in FL: If someone holds an ICAO First Class (such as FAA), can they get a CAA First Class at an AME instead of the full Initial at Gatwick?

I've heard that this is the case a few times, but can't find any official word on it.

I ve read somewhere that is s not possible...

just to "renew" your 1s class, some are able to do that in the US but not for the first time!

And so obviously I dont have other choice than to go at Gatwick !!!

does someone how much it is ? and what they are doing really?

thank you

THe UK CAA upto last year did do an "extended" renewal if you had an ICAO class 1. I think that this could only be done at Gawick though as it was only really an initail minus a few points. It does not exist anymore however and an FAA class 1 medical is no more use to you than a peice of toilet paper as far as the UK CAA go.

Hope you can get sorted soon and this answers your questions.
