The results are not due out until this Friday according to CAA published timings, but they usually arrive by Weds/Thurs of the second week.

Been there, done that!!!!

I don't envy you one bit, it's the longest 2 weeks of your life waiting for those results to arrive. Good luck to all of you!

Waiting, waiting, waiting.

No idea how I did. I know I got questions wrong in everything (even stupid mistakes in comms shock horror!)

How do most people end up doing? Getting better results than they thought or, heaven forbid, worse!

YYZ - I hope mine don't follow your trend...I think i did ok with 5 of them and not so well with MET. I would rather pass 5 than 1
Fingers crossed! Good Luck to all.

Congrats Frank - great feeling isn't it!

Like you all that waiting period is horrible...you forget in the first week then the second week you are a nervous wreck. Luckily the results came out a day earlier thatn I though thereby missing the sleepless night.

Believe me........ the waiting, lack of sleep, loss of brain cells - it is all worth it in the end

Good luck everyone!

PPL Vs ATPL

Would someone that has just sat the ATPL exams be kind enough to compare and contrast them with the PPL exams please? I.E. how long is an exam, how many questions per subject, level of knowledge required/difficulty etc. Approximations will suffice.

I am currently tidying up a PPL and looking ahead into the unknown of the commercial theory and exams...

Cheers.

Exams complete at last.

Mike Papa Delta

PPL exams I did on 2 evenings per subject. For the ATPL I have worked harder and spent more time studying than I did studying for an Engineering Degree (I got a 2:1). Just to give you an idea! But it is enjoyable.

I got mine yesterday, passed the first 8!

Unbelievable as I never thought I would pass Nav, but I did, by quite a lot

Well done everyone, just another 6 to go

Best regards,

Buster
