Returning to flying in the North West
 

I am renewing my medical tomorrow following a two year break, mainly because of a lack of funds, but a HUGE promotion means my “hobby” is back on stream.

I have been browsing available clubs\aircraft in the North West and have narrowed it down to either Liverpool or Blackpool.
Does any one have any info on aircraft for hire at both Liverpool and Blackpool? I notice there is now Pool aviation at Blackpool, is this the old Welshpool outfit? If so where have all the PA38’s gone?

The final consideration is cost because I will want at least a couple of hours with an instructor just to blow away the cobwebs, not to mention a skils test.
