Passengers for Charity

Can I donate a ride with myself in a school aircraft, as a prize in a charity raffle? What are the insurance implications? Who is liable if I screw up and hurt the lucky winner ?

My only flying qualification is as PPL.

All the answers you need are in an AIC to be found here.

You will see that there are many limitations placed on these flights, including experience requirements, maximum passengers/flights per day and flights to be conducted from a licenced airfield.

Good luck

Charlie.
