Airfields Visited Record

Has anyone got any more information on the succesful record established for number of airfields visited in one day which was undertaken at the end of last week. I heard a brief mention that 62 airfields had been visited on a news bulletin on the radio but that was all that was said.

I seem to remember a record being set of 101 or 105 last year, with a big article on it in flyer or todays pilot.

So 62 would seem low.

I think the record you are recalling was 102 airfields
completed in an R22 by two pilots from Shobden.
This last record was in a fixed wing aircraft, somewhat
more challenging.

I am impressed that you think its a little low.
