Another (Boring) US Airman Cert Question
I have a US Airman Cert issued on the basis of my UK PPL No.XYZ and valid only in conjunction with that licence.
Since the US Airman Cert. was issued, however, my UK PPL lapsed and I have revalidated it. Only problem is that although it is still a national PPL (i.e. not a JAR), the number of my UK PPL has actually changed. Where does this leave my US Cert.? Anyone any ideas? QDM |
I suspect your FAA reciprocal PPL is invalid, since it is based on a different CAA PPL number from the one you're toting.
I'd be inclined to e-mail the folks at Oklahoma City: from my experience, they are very friendly and will do all they can to sort it. May even issue you a corrected FAA reciprocal. |
