The magniAIR air-cooled electric engine for general aviation offers best-in-class power-to-weight, low cost of operation, and reduced maintenance
  • magniX is integrating magniAIR as part of a full magniX powertrain into a Van’s Aircraft RV-10 kit plane scheduled for first flight this year
  • magniAIR is designed initially for experimental as well as light sport aircraft and electric flight trainers

Off topic by the second post, but why oh why can't professional photographers, printers, and website publishers capable of inserting sky behind a plane on the ground get rid of the flat spots at the bottom of the tyres?

There's a butcher's shop, Tasman Butchers, at Kingston Plaza right next to Moorabbin airport, with an impressive head on photographic mural of a DC3 in flight in the entrance foyer.

(best photo I could find online from 300km away)

At least it would be impressive, if it weren't for the great big flat spots at the bottom of the tyres proving the photo was taken on the ground.
It irks me quite irrationally far more than it should.

Rant over, we return you to your normal programming...
