PPL theoretical exam; AirLaw

Hiya

Im studying for my AirLaw theoretical exams. There is a topic about the ICAO, Chicago convention. A document called DOC7300 that contains 96 Articles.

How many of these Articles, do i need to learn about for the PPL exams. I am based in the United Kingdom

Regards

I'm out of touch with the latest UK PPL Air Law syllabus but I doubt it requires you to read DOC7300 in its entirety. :ugh: The document was signed in December 1944 to form the basis of International Civil Aviation Rules that countries could align with.

Often reference is made to where the origin of a piece of legislation has come from and I suspect this is what you are seeing in your article.

Stick to the syllabus given by your course provider unless you really want to delve deeply into the subject. In which case 'Good Luck'. :bored:

I'm not sure what materials you're using for your theoretical exams but I took and passed Air Law last Saturday. I'm using EasyPPL which makes the studying aspect super clear - as mentioned by the other reply, you don't need to memorise them at all for the PPL exam.

Thanks so much. I'm using Pooleys book. I will be also using the EasyPPL but planning on using it for their exam papers. I will stick to the Syllabus.
