As for EGMH Manston, didn't I understand it has been closed for a good many years now?
The runway even serving as a relief truck parking at one time? Is it on the way of reopening to at least some degree of aviation? |
I'm guessing they'll be using the grass runway 05/23 which is about 750m.
This is strictly a 'one off' opening for charity; the owners aim to be re-opening fully in about 2025. |
90 aircraft accepted and I'm told no further bookings accepted.

Fly-in today with lots of arrivals. Slightly sporty crosswind but a wide runway 👍
