Changing ear seals

Bit of a stupid question, so apologies - my very old Bose x headset desperately needs some new ear cups/seals.

I’ve ordered some, but have no idea if they’re easy to fit or not. Is there an idiot-approved way to change them?

Really easy to fit the Bose ones if you bought non Bose it’s a bit more difficult

Does this help?
Other videos appear to be available as well, judging from a quick Google search.

There are loads of videos available, this one covers the X as well:
It is based on a non-Bose earseal kit though, so I don't know if it will fit the situation.

They both use same size ear pads. Transair pilot shop sent mine by return.
