sorry to bore you!

Another new thread, there have been hundreds before and I suspect this won't be the last but am so pleased that I have now passed my skills test and await my shiny PPL :ooh:

Sorry to be boring, I'm just telling everybody at the moment haha :ok:

Congrats! Do keep us posted about your further progress - the PPL is only a license to learn!

Pilot DAR 8th July 2016 20:49

Congrats Brad, well done! As Jan correctly says, you now have a license to learn. I've had to license to learn for 39 years now, and I still regularly learn new things about flying safely. You dreamed to be a pilot, now you are - now dream to be an old pilot!

congratulations, enjoy

Great news and good luck, from an old pilot to a new pilot.

Well done - what do you plan to do with it?

Rwy in Sight 12th July 2016 19:14

Congratulations, best wishes for your flying future.

Wonderful day ! Like your first solo, this is a day you'll never forget. But keep in flying practice. Piloting skills rapidly atrophy if not used, and your PPL may then become a "licence to commit suicide".

From a very old ex-pilot !

Brad2523 18th July 2016 19:33

Yes thanks for your kind words everybody. I can afford to fly about 2 hours a month, but this is likely to be more (if the oh agrees!). No desire to cpl or anything like that, just the pleasure of flying :-)

Mike Flynn 18th July 2016 22:52

There will be opportunities to fly with others Brad if you hang out with fellow flyers.

Best wishes.
