Digital logbook apps for iOS8

I used to use Flogger to log my flights on my iPhone, and liked the customisability of it - I could log additional parameters beyond what is normally required (such as EFATOs - very useful during training to see when I last practiced), and could customise the summary page for different time periods (last 30 days, last 90 days, etc). It also had the ability to back up to Google Docs as a CSV file.

However, now I've upgraded to iOS8, the app doesn't seem to work any more, and it's no longer available on the app store.

Can anyone recommend any suitable replacement digital logbook apps that work with iOS8? Reasonably priced ideally, as I'm only a PPL, so don't use it a huge amount.

Sorry, disregard.

You could try these guys http://myflightbook.com/ it's free too. I'm in the same boat of looking for a decent reasonably priced logbook app that I can use on my phone, without spending upwards of £50 a year that some apps charge.

I'm finding Logbook.aero pretty good. There iOS app is pretty basic but their mobile web version is just like their desktop version.

I have a logbook in Excel, and I'm happy with it.

I'm looking for a PLOG App for the iPad.

As I can strap it to my knee and flip the kneeboard over to reveal the iPad page, it's great with MemoryMap, but an electronic, self adjusting, plog would be really cool.

Thanks for the replies everyone. It's a shame there aren't more that store on the device and back up to the cloud, rather than the trend now to store straight on the cloud - I'm not overly trusting of cloud storage!

Myflightbook looks interesting, I might give that one a test flight.

Wish I had kept an electronic logbook because I have lost mine. The most expensive book I have ever owned.

If you have a LAPL so no ratings page, your validity depends on a signature from an instructor.

How does that happen on an electronic logbook?
