Canadian PPL

Hi, I apologize if this is a question that has been answered already, it is my first post.
I have been flying in the UK on a Canadian PPL for some time now, recently I was told that I had to convert it to an EASA equivalent.
I only tow gliders.

My question is in two parts.
Do I need to convert?
and what is the simplest / cheapest route for an impoverished gliding instructor?
I have mote than 1000 hours of towing behind me with many thousands of take offs and landings.

Thanks

Dave

Yes you do. You will need to take the air law exam and do a skill test as I recall.

Where are you based, if in the midlands I can sort it for you.
