weightshift microlight training in Madrid
Hi all. I'm moving to Madrid next year and while there would like to learn to fly 3 axis weight shift microlights - an interest I've long wanted to indulge. Unfortunately I don't speak spanish. Can anyone recommend an English speaking school or club that can train me?
Thanks. |
I don't know the answer - but just feel the need to point out that "three axis" and "weightshift" are different classes of aircraft flown very differently.
Both are great fun, but it's best to pick one! That said, these chaps are at-least in the right country and speak English:Welcome To New Horizons School Of Microlighting: and do BOTH 3-axis and flexwing flying. G |
Might be worth learning to speak Spanish and learn to fly, there are numerous flying clubs/airfields around Madrid mainly active on weekends and evenings, the ones I have visited seem to have a good social side aswell.

Oops! Sorry, I wasn't concentrating when I wrote my request. Weightshift micro lighting is definitely what I'd like to experience, and thanks very much for pointing me toward New Horizons.

I am a UK flexwing owner/pilot but cant answer your question directly...but don't forget the BMAA web site, BMAA Forum
That's the main microlight forum for UK pilots...I'm sure if you ask the same question or any other microlight related question there somebody will know, And well done for choosing the most fun type of micros to fly. |
