Logging flight time in the USA for an EASA PPL
Hello all,
I'm currently working towards an EASA PPL and will be heading off on holiday to America shortly. While I'm out there, I've booked a trial/sight-seeing flight in the area that I'm staying. The US flight school is not EASA-approved, and so I'd guess that this flight time can't be logged towards my PPL, but thought I'd check if anyone had a definite answer either way? Many thanks. |
log it as dual and get the instructor to put his license number next to it.
You used to be able to use up to 10hours with any IACO instructor but it might have changed with EASA. You might not be able to use it against any EASA license requirements but it still an hour logged. |
Log it, but it won't count.
Neither did the 1:45 I had in a Sea Vixen in 1966! |
