At least he didn't choose the approach some young PC simmer allegedly chose many years ago on one of the airfields near Vienna: just took a plane (even with some friends as rumour has it) and went airborne. When it came to landing, however, he discovered that it didn't quite work out like in MSFS. After some talking down by the tower it appears he finally made a good (or even great?) landing. Not quite as heroic as intended, though (not to mention the aftermath).

Long time ago though, and yours truly was a little kid then who got the story related by parents, so it's definitely something for the rumour network.
