Logbook logging question
This summer I'll be traveling to the US to do my hour building flying SOLO towards my IR, CPL, ATPL, etc, now I have a PPL. I was wondering if the CAA would require any sort of verification/authentication of the time flown besides my signature in the logbook, like for example a signature of the private owner of the plane, or in case I rent it at a FBO, any stamp or certificate. Just to avoid surprises and an unnecessary trip back to the States. Any recommendations of FBOs in California would also be appreciated.
Thanks! |
No verification required. The penalties for parker pen hours are severe enough I think to deter all but the most hardened from making entries up.

In case there's any doubt, keep the invoices.

They don't even require your signature in the logbook! Just your name address and licence details. Art 79(1)

Though you probably won't be required to show anything, keep all the paperwork involved for your timebuilding trip. It'll help show that it was a real experience, in case someone wants to question your time over there.

Thank you all for your advices!
