I dont find the MET office website to be bad but it seems many others would disagree, like I say I've never used it at an airfield or for actual flight planning but I have been trying to find my way around it to get the information that would be required for flight planning. I use Firefox web browser so I can "Pin" pages at the top of the browser so when I open Firefox its all there and it also remembers my passowrd. So how about the GPS thing? Does everyone on here prefer just following Sat Nav?

I must be the only one then to do planning and use the Met Office site! I tend to use the tafs/metars/F214/215 forms and rain radar. The only issue I have is that I can't read the 214/215 forms on my blackberry:{ but it's fine on PC or iPad. Never had a problem with logging in. Having said that I do have sky demon as well :D

A couple of easy access weather planning sites, for a look at what the weather will be doing up to 14 days ahead, are.....

weatheronline.co.uk and Metcheck.co

These give you the best chance of booking your flight on the best possible day to avoid strong winds or heavy rain etc.
