You can do the NQ without flying on your own; your instructor stays with you for the duration.
Is there anyone out there that has actually done this?
... and is prepared to admit it, even anonymously, on a forum?

Isn't it a fact that the NQ is done all dual?

Like the IR is done all dual.

No, mandatory 5 full stop solo take off and landings

I did my 5 TOLs solo. Perhaps that's why my NQ wasn't "all done in a single night", as I have heard so often.

Like the IR is done all dual.
... but there are no rules against that.

OK; I did mine a long time ago :)

Are you saying that the CAA disallowed your Isihara (C2 medical) pass towards the C1 medical?

That's outrageous.
I don't believe that any reference was made to my Class 2 medical records during my Class 1.

It was a completely fresh start medical.

So does this actually get you a day-restricted night rating? :O

Colour Deficient

Even someone with a deficiency, red and green been the most common, would easilly distinguish between the night tower lighting signals.
The true test is an easy one.
Look up at the sky on a dark night and make out clearly which is the red lens
and which is the green.
Its sort of easier if you can see which way the aircraft is moving but its still an good acid test.
