'Above Cloud' pics
Hi all. :)
I am calling on my PPruNe mates for a bit of help. I want to get hold of a really nice picture of some 'on top' flying, ideally in an early evening sunset-type light, that would be good enough to print off and put in a photo frame. I have done a bit of googling and come up with a few but nothing there is 'quite right'. I'm sure that some of you intrepid aviators will have quite a collection, would any of you wish to share and allow me to download and print the image? To be really picky, I am looking for mainly clouds and sky (and maybe the sun), no mountains or hills and definitely no wings or propellors. Thanks in advance!:ok: |
Afraid this is the best I can offer to you. There was more sky but had to crop a wing out. It's probably not quite what you're looking for but just in case:

I was quite suprised how good they were as well. I had just got a Nokia N95 and was trying it out. Lovely sunrises makes getting up in the cold and dark worth it doing red eye flights. |

got some pics - can't see how to insert them on the thread like others though?

Nice pics Denti.
Even the earlies are worth it with the view out of the office window. george we have an advantage in that the FD forward windows are not a manky bit of perspex its a heated flat laminated window. Also as well the camera needs to have a mode which allows you to fix the focus at infinity so the auto focus doesn'y focus on the window. I used a Panasonic TZ20 for those shots which has a mode for shooting out of aircraft windows. Although I must admit I did neglect to ask the cabin crew if I could take photo's as per the cameras instructions :D |
