PPL Revalidation Help required
Im coming up to the 2 years at which I need to revalidate my (CAA Issued) JAA PPL based on experience.
I have done the minimum hours and the hour flight with an instructor. I need to get a JAA Examiner to check the details and sign my license. Question - Do I still need to get the examiner to complete a CAA SG119 Form (Or similar) and send it to the UK CAA. I live in Switzerland so although I can find a JAA examiner they are probably not familiar with which CAA form is required. Can somebody can clarify which form I should get them to complete. Thanks in advance |
Yes, your Swiss JAA examiner should complete the SRG\1119 form. That form is then sent to the CAA.
What you also should include is a copy of the examiners license/authorization. The examiner is most likely not known to the CAA, so by including a copy of his paperwork the CAA knows that everything is in Ordnung. |
