Limbach engines to close.
 

How very sad. After more than 40 years of providing sales, spares, and back up for one of the most reliable VW based aero engines. Now the family firm of Limbach Flugmotoren will close in October 2011.
Peter Limbach has sent a personal letter to all customers, citing ever increasing regulations and requirements that have been choking his business.
Orders for exchange engines will be honoured until 31 Oct 2011. After that the firms spares inventory will sold off in a clearance sale until 15 Dec 2011.
Continued supply of spare parts is under negotiation, but orders that cannot be fulfilled will be cancelled.
