Training Maximum Completion Time PPL

Just a quick question.

Does anyone here know what the maximum time is for the completion of a PPL course? For example, do hours logged over 5 years ago expire or what is the particular limit under CAA/JAA/EASA reguations?

many thanks,
Horse

PS searched everywhere on the CAA and EASA websites, didn't find a thing and flight school is a joke for this kind of thing!

There isn't a maximum, so long as the hours can be verified, and you meet the requirements for maximum time between written exams and skill test.

Took me 5 years & 47 hours, it all counts, just be careful of the ground exams, they expire after 18 months of passing the first one.
