FAA IR
Hi anyone know whats involved in revalidating my FAA IR IN THE UK. ( I have a current FAA ATPL )
|
If you have a current FAA ATPL and have flown the 6/6 then your IR is current.
If you don't have the 6/6 then you will need an IPC. Jon Cooke at Ontrack will look after you in the Midlands. |
If you are less than 12 months out of currency, then there is the option of doing the 6 approaches etc in VMC with a view limiting device and safety pilot.
The IPC with a CFII may be simpler and quicker. Simulators are also acceptable for the re-currency requirement and will save a bit on ATC fees. |
