PiperSport

Anyone have info on UK flying schools that are using the PiperSport?

Not yet, as far as I know a few certification issues are outstanding but I am sure that it won't be long before you see a "real" Pipersport.

If you want to fly something very similar, look at the AT3. It is approved and several flying clubs have them.

Or the Tecnam P2002-JF which is also an SEP (Group A) certified machine.

The PiperSport will eventually be on an EASA Restricted Type Certificate - when EASA decide what one is and don't hold your breath for that to happen (regardless what the marketing men say....).

At the moment, the Piper Sport (SportCruiser) is on an EASA Permit To Fly so cannot be used by a flying school for training or private hire.
