Wot do I need 2 do b 4 I start my PPL
 

I'm off 2 do my PPL in Nov @ OFT in Florida
but apart from my 2 medicals i need ( 1 CAA and 1 FAA ) Wot else should I do to help me pass. Also to anyone whos just passed their PPL, was there anything that I should know before I head out to florida? You know.. Stuff they might spring on me or stuff I should learn that no one tells you yadda yadda. Also if anyones been 2 OFT can ya tell me wot its like?

Hi, get as genned up as possible b4 u go - get some study material from your library eg the Trevor Thorn flight training books etc - the principles of flight are the same there as here - but also get hold of some of their rule books (even though it's a UK licence yr going for) - try www.faa.co.uk and www.faa.gov and www.pilotwarehouse.co.uk and www.gleim.com and www.transair.co.uk
I'm sure others know some more sites worth visiting.
